Tyler's brother Cameron just got home from his mission in Somoa! So for the first time in 2 short years the whole family was back together! So we took the opportunity to take family pix. These actually went by pretty smooth- considering we were dealing with 5 boys that aren't really into this sorta thing!! But man our they all good lookin!! What a great family I have married into!!

This is really not like me to share these things on my blog, but I feel greatly inspired by today's general conference and feel that it would be ungrateful not to share my feelings. Our Prophet's talk was so touching and beautiful. He did not say anything that we have not learned before but he said it with such conviction and faith that there is not denying the truth in his words. I know that my Savior died for me so that I too can be resurrected someday! He lives!! He loves each of us so unconditionally. One of the Elders today said something on how the Savior loves our children so much more than even we do. That really opened my eyes...yes I know that this is not a new concept. But as I sat in my car the other day looking back in the mirror at my two girls, I felt such an overwhelming feeling of love and gratitude for them. Words cannot describe the feelings I have for my family. Then today, hearing that He loves them even more than I could ever love them seems so amazing. He loves us and I know that He has taken on all of our sins for us. I am a person who is not exactly proud of some of the mistakes I have made in my life, But I have felt the overwhelming love and forgiveness of our Savior. I know that He is waiting for all of us to come to Him with open arms. He wants us to return to Him someday. These words have helped me so much in my life and I feel that I can overcome anything as long as I keep faith in them. I love this gospel and know that Jesus Christ is our Savior and He loves us.

I finally got it done!! One year later- I took the girls to Target to get their pix taken! Not as cute as I had hoped but still shows how beautiful my babies are!!! My favorite is the one where Peighty is malling Ellee to kiss her!

California Fun

We went to California with Tyler's family! His Uncle Garn let us use his condo for the week! Thank you! Thank you! We had a fun time. We were right on Newport Beach and swam in the ocean a couple of times. Ellee wasn't sure about the water but loved to eat the sand! She had it everywhere! Peighty loved the water and would giggle when it would chase her! On Tuesday we went to Disneyland! Peighton said "it was the best day of her life!" She was in heaven. We got her an autograph book and that was her favorite thing- getting all the characters autograph!Ellee didn't like the characters so that is why she isn't in any pictures. We went to Seaworld too and that was fun. Peighty loved the rollercoaster. Seriously she is 4 and barely tall enough but went on it like 4 times! I will put up all the other pix when I get them. But here is a preview of our family vaca!! Thanks Summers family- we had a blast!!

I was able to get my camera working for an hour yesterday!! So we played photo shoot! Peighty was all for getting dolled up and taking pictures. She would pose and tell me how good it loooked it was really funny! She was finally brave enough to get her ears pierced last week and was eager to show them off. Ellee on the other hand wasn't quite as excited to get her picture taken. It was impossible to get her to look at the camera and not be a slobber monkey!! So enjoy the fun! My girls are sweet and too much fun to be around! I am loving having the summer off!

OKay- so I better explain myself! I haven't blogged forever becuase my camera isn't working! So here is an update! 3 Weeks into summer vacation, I have been in classes the whole vaca! But me and the girls have been able to go swim at the pool a couple of times! Ellee loves it- she is so funny. Peighty is just a little fish! She jumped right in and never looked back! Ty is working for his brother now and I am finally getting to be home and enjoy summer!! It will go too fast I know though! Anyways our family is great! Hopefully I can get some pix up soon!

We had a wonderful Christmas in Idaho! We spent the holidays with Ty's family! It has been so nice! The girls had a blast this morning! Santa found them and spoiled them like crazy! Peighty is at a fun age right now because she is super excited and Ellee just smiled all morning long! We had a nice weekend at home finally!! So I busted out my photography skills and took some homestyle pictures. They are so cute!! I had fun! We also gave Ellee an oreo this weekend! Whoa she was a mess!! We loved it!

Women's Conference

Angie gave us tickets to all go to the Women's Conference. It was seriously an awesome thing to be at! The spirit was so strong and the speakers so inspirational! I am so thankful that Angie did that! Not only because it was a neat thing but also it was a girls night out!! No kids! We went to Gateway and browsed for awhile and then out to eat at Mcgraths!! Thank you Jess for helping me with the kids! You are the best and Grandpa Dave too! I am so greatful also for the gospel in my life!! Until next time- which who knows when that will be Adios!!

Well now that Angie and I are both part of the teachers union. We get to hone in on some of the perks that come along with our positions! Like Teacher night at the dino park in Ogden! So fun! We took the kids and had free dinner and a blast! I recommend it to all!!

I survived the first week only crying a few times in the privacy of my own home! They can't see weakness or they thrive on it! But I am loving it although it is much harder than I ever imagined! My Mary Kay Party!!

So I got suckered into a Mary Kay party last night! I invited a bunch of people not really expectin anyone to come and actually had a good turn out! It was really fun hangin out with the girls and gettin prettied up! We had food, fun, and friends what else can we ask for. My girls Jordan and Sandy showed up from down south and hung out for a while. It was so fun I miss hangin out with those two! My gals Katie and her lil Ricki came too! It was great to see how much her lil one has grown and hold her! Sad that we only live like 20 minutes apart and still only see eachother once in a long while. I love ya Kate! Then Jill came! She is so fun and a constant laugh! She sure kept us all laughin! Thanks Jill! Lastly my BFF's Angie and Mom came and brought great food! Thank you for everyone who came, it was a blast! We will have to do a girls night again- minus the lame Mary Kay lecture! I love and miss you all!

Idaho Fun

We went to Idaho this past weekend for Gladys and Dicks sealing. What an awesome thing. Totally amazing to see two people after many many years be sealed for time and all eternity! It was really an emotional thing - I am so happy for them!
Of course we went to Rexburg after the temple. It was so fun! They have a free water park thing in town and although it was pretty cold Peighty had a blast! On Sunday we drove up to Mesa Falls and had a picnic and fed some fish. It was really beautiful up there. We had such a great time! Thank you so much Grandma and Grandpa Summers! Hope you come visit us soon!

A Week with the Dixons

Traci and the boys were up this past week! It was so fun! We had lots of sleepovers at our house so the boys could play xbox360 with Ty. I spent most of the week at my mom's house so I wouldn't miss a beat! We made home made ice cream, drank lots of diet coke and laughed alot! On Tuesday me, Traci, Dad, Tay, Tan, Trev, and Mick went up Provo canyon to go white water rafting. It wasn't white waters but it sure was a blast! Cold though! Wednesday we went to the Bountiful 24th parade- it was way too hot but still fun! Thursday Tyler scored some free Raptors tix! It was really wild there! The Raptors pulled out a win and we even got to see a good firework show afterwards! Friday was chill we just got ready for the fam reunion. Saturday was the family reunion- great fun! By Sunday we were all so tired - we just bawled when the time came for the Dixons to leave! It was such a fun week! We love when Traci comes to visit she makes life so fun! she is such an amazing woman- especially to drive 10 hrs with 3 stinky boys!! We love you guys and can't wait to make a trip up there to visit!

Ty's lil brother just left for the MTC on Wednesday! I have never had the oppurtunity of having a bro on a mission! It was pretty sad to see him go! But so awesome that he went! We are so proud of him and the example he has set for our family! He is serving in the Samoa Apia Mission! (However you spell it) So in two years he will prolly come back much darker and larger than he is now! Here are some cute pix of him at Bear Lake! We know he will be a wonderful missionary! For the 4th of July the Summers family all went to Bear Lake for one last Hoorah before Cam left on his Miss! It was so fun! We borrowed Scotties waverunner and even rented a boat! I got really fried but its all worth the tan in the end! We stayed at a fun lil condo that had lots of things to do! Tennis, playground,vball, and a swim pool! It was awesome- thanks grandma and grandpa!!

These pix were from back in June at Syracuse days. Jess and Eric's kids came up to play so we made it a party! I sware most of our summer has been spent out in Grandmas backyard in the water or garden! The kids love to help Grandpa plant that is for sure! After the swimming they had fireworks at the park! Ellee's Blessing Day

Ellee's Blessing was yesterday! It was really nice, Tyler did an excellent job! I was proud of him. Lots of family and friends came from all over to support us on this big day! Thank you to all of you, it was so nice to have you all there. After the blessing we all went to Rohmer Park by our house, since it is way too small to have a dinner at our place. But it was really fun! The kids just all hung out and played, the food was wonderful, and the weather was beautiful! We couldn't have asked for a more perfect day! Except I am now having to avoid all of the leftovers and there were tons! Let's just say between yesterday and today I am totally stuffed! Thanks to everyone for all your help yesterday! We love you all and are so grateful to have the gospel in our family!

Well the day has finally come. This past friday I finally got my bachelors degree! Only six years, 8 moves, 2 kids, and 20 lbs later!! Whoo Hoo!I went back and forth about walking but after much persuasion I decided it was kinda a big deal! So I walked and did the whole thing! I am really glad I did- it was so special to walk out of the tunnel at the McKay Dee Events center and have my family sitting there and Peighty yelling hi mommy! Each time I looked back everyone was waving! It was so neat!I guess now the next step is getting a job! I am looking but not that hard yet! Hopefully I will get one soon! Anyway thanks to everyone for all of your love and support in helping me get through this long road! Now only 6 more months until we are all doing this again for Ty!!

Okay so today is officially Peighton's third birthday! Although we have been celebrating her big day since this weekend. The festivities started out in Price, Utah. We partied with the Summers on Friday night, eatin some good food at Groggs and then hittin up the bowling alley. It was a fun time had by all! The next day we hit up some good CEU baseball games to cheer on uncle Cam! They played some good baseball! Later that night we made our way to Scottie and Denices house to party! Peighty had her best bud Tenley with her so it didn't matter what else happened. We had some killah sloppy joes and then ate our Barbie Mariposa cupcakes. Peighty got spoiled too much by Denicee and so did me and mom. After kids hit the hay we took off to the salon to get pampered! It was awesome! We love Denice!! We then took the party up north to Syracuse!Here we partied with the guys and Angie! Peighty was pretty pumped! She kept askin were her pink bike was even before we opened presents. I think someone peeked!! Oh well- once again she got spoiled. I tried to make a fun strawberry short cake but it just looked pretty silly! Thank you too everyone for the fun birthday bashes! I am so sad to see my lil girl is already three, but she gets cuter by the day! I love her so much and am so thankful for her in my life!! Happy Birthday Peighty!!!

Thanks to everyone who came to visit us in the hospital and at my house! My stupid battery is dead on our new camera and I cannot find the charger so unfortunately I didn't get any pix of the Madsen Clan's visit!! But all I can say is Jess is going to have her hands full with all her lil helpers! They all loved the baby- especially her youngest Mayes who is 1! He wanted to hold her the whole time!! Ellee was born March 12, 2008!! She came at 8:39 am. She is so sweet and little! She was only 5lbs 10 oz. and 19 inches long!! Her Sister Peighty loves her so much and can't keep her hands off of her- kinda scary! But we are so excited to have her in our lives! We are so blessed to have two beautiful lil girls!! Ty is one lucky guy!!
